How to Play LexiLayers

LexiLayers is a word puzzle game where you select tiles from a board to build words. All letters are visible — simply click the tiles you want to add them to your Working Row at the top of the screen.

Basic Gameplay

1. Select Tiles — Click or tap any tile on the board to add its letter to your Working Row. Tiles can only be selected if they are not covered by another tile on top.
2. Build Words — Selected letters appear in your Working Row at the top. Arrange them to form valid English words.
3. Submit Words — Press Enter or tap Submit to score your word. Longer words and special tiles earn more points!
4. Clear & Continue — After submitting, your Working Row clears and you can start building a new word.

The Working Row

The Working Row has 10 slots at the top of the screen. Letters fill from left to right as you select tiles. The position where your word ends affects your score multiplier!

Board Flips

Each game you have a limited number of flips (the count depends on the game mode variant). A flip rotates the entire board — the bottom row becomes the top, and the top becomes the bottom. This reveals new tile combinations and scoring opportunities! The flip button shows how many flips you have remaining.

Rounds & Time

Most game modes have multiple rounds. Your board carries over between rounds — you continue exactly where you left off. Watch the timer — when time runs out, the round ends and any unsubmitted word is lost.
