A new puzzle every day! Everyone plays the exact same board, so scores are directly comparable. Can you make it to the top?
The Daily Challenge rotates through six different modes — check the logo on the start card to see which one is live today:
The original Daily. Tap letters to build words, use the green and blue multipliers, and flip to reshuffle when you're stuck. Highest total across all rounds wins the day.
Plays like Classic, but the board starts partly cleared. Fewer tiles to work with means you have to plan ahead to find your best words.
Hunt down specific target words. Watch the info bar and live feed for the current target, then assemble it for a bonus before the next one appears. Hunt bonuses stack on top of your normal word scores, and finding every target earns a completion bonus.
Glowing bonus tiles are scattered across the board: Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Mystery (?) tiles worth a hidden value. Use a bonus tile in a word to collect it — the bonus is multiplied by your working-row multiplier and stacks on top of your word score.
No rounds — just a rising board. New lettered rows feed in from the bottom on a timer, and the board fills up if you can't clear rows fast enough. Race the clock instead of a round counter — build as many words as you can before time runs out, no waiting between rounds. See the Single Player section for the preset/time breakdown.
Play every day to build your streak! Consecutive days earn bonus coins:

The daily leaderboard ranks all players who completed the challenge. If scores are tied, the following tie-breakers are applied in order:
After the daily challenge closes, you'll receive an inbox message from Lexi with the top 3 results, your placement, and a summary of coins earned. You can turn this off in Social → Invites & Results.
